It comes to no surprise that artificial intelligence comes up as a trend for digital marketing, from the rise of ChatGPT to gen AI. Many companies have decided to adopt artificial intelligence as apart of their digital marketing strategy.

NVIDIA’s recent market cap at 3.11 trillion USD has also helped accelerate the growth of AI in the global marketplace.

Video is going to be a hot topic in the future. As people’s attention spans wane, people are expected to demand quick & easy content “mindless content scrollable content.” Video helps fill this gap compared to websites, blog posts and such because of its easy click and view accessibility.

As the world moves more towards a “green” culture, key words like CSR (corporate social responsibility), green marketing, sustainability marketing, company culture come to mind. This is because people are developing a very different relationship towards their environment than ever before.

As key issues such as Global Warming are set to disrupt world economies, people’s focus on competition against each other is now changing towards building a sustainable humanity. Positioning your brand as one that’s aware of these issues will gain many brownie points with members of the younger population.

As our world is becoming more connected, globalized. There is no longer an emphasis of COUNTRY vs COUNTRY, because people are becoming more enmeshed and similar, even for members of different culture. Therefore, people will tend to choose their relationships in friends/family/colleagues based on shared values rather than race.

This is a trend that will absolutely affect digital marketing, as people will tend to support brands that share similar core values rather than of country or race.

Do you remember the days of PC gaming? Those days are far gone as mobile gaming has been taking over the gaming industry by storm. Before, the barrier of entry for playing games would be purchasing a high-end PC.

But now, as long as you have a smartphone, you can play games. Competitive games, single player games, all sort of games you can play.

That’s why the market for mobile gaming has been growing at a steady pace of $119 billion USD worldwide.

Expect more games to be advertised on mobile as people spend their free times on their phones.
